How to get rid of "Dance-Burn-Out"? - Wonyoungismgirlies?
Hi, I have a question to all Wonyoungismgirlies out there!!I want to become a Kpop Idol and I'm working really hard to get there. I've been training my dancing now for almost a year (everyday for at least 30 min to 1 hour), but I'm kind of facing a burn-out.I always lived to dance and as a kid I also attended dance classes. I really loved and enjoyed it and also danced at home all the time! Then I stopped attending those classes, because they stopped teaching in the area were I live. Like this, I just danced at home when I wanted to and just did it from time to time. Then I started to get to know Kpop and I always wanted ro become a singer and dancer and like this, the dream of becoming an Idol just started to stick with me for years now. After I got to know Wonyoungism, I started to train hard for my career and started to dance and practice at home everyday. But somehow... I kind of lost the fun in dancing. For a very long time now, it feels just like a chor. I din't look forward to it anymore and I always have the thoughts of "I don't want to dance", "I wish I could just not do it now", "Oh no, it's time to dance... again", "I really don't want to", "I just want to relax once!", "I don't want to, but I can't irgnore my future!", etc. I just don't feel any fun in it anymore, yet my dream if being an Idol is still there. I always dance right after I come home from school for 30 min to 1 hour (depending in how long my schoolday was), workout afterwards, then shower, journal, do some yoga, eat, etc. But when I come home, I just want to relax or just workout. I see my mom, my sister, my dad, the kids in my neighborhood play outside, relax in the sun, play games, study, talk and laugh together... but I work so hard and don't even find any joy in ir anymore. It's just pushing through, and doing the same thing over and over again, everyday.I know that being an Idol is more than hard and that I have to train there much longer than 1 hour, but I would do anything to make this dream come true. The fact is just, that I don't have time anymore right know for friends, for going outside after school and enjoying my teenage years and that I'm facing for a very long time (months) a dance-burn-out, but push through everyday. My mom said, that she doesn't want me to audition, until I have a certain age and that still takes a few years, so I want to prepare well there, yet still enjoy my child-/teenagehood.Whenever I'm for example on holydays or a trip with my family and can't dance there, I feel much more relaxed, but whenever we come back, I only have the fact in mind: "Oh no,... I have to push through it now again..." and the "time out" doesn't help me to recover from the burn out... I've tried so much but feel now so lost and don't know what to do.I really feel so lost and alone about this. Can any Wonyoungismgirly help me out there?❤️
